Endowment funds guarantee there will always be scholarships from A-P Dollars for Scholars to our students.

Only the interest that is earned from endowment funds can be awarded as scholarships each year.  Gifts to A-P Dollars for Scholars that are requested to be endowments by the donor are held in an interest-bearing account and only the interest that is earned is awarded to students each year.  The size of the award is impacted by the amount of money in that specific endowment, interest rates, and in some cases the additional gifts given towards that endowment through the year.
